The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Makhdumpur P.S. Case No. 103 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Section(s) 420, 467, 471 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code together with Section 30(a) (c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding the recovery of 193 liters of illicit liquor from a vehicle in which the petitioner was sitting. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is neither the owner of the said vehicle nor any recovery has been made from conscious possession of the petitioner. It is further submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 01.04.2018.

No.30561 of 2018 (2) dt.22-05-2018 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (rupees Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Jehanabad in connection with Makhdumpur P.S. Case No. 103 of 2018.
