The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Ahiyapur P.S. Case No. 222 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 5B(1), 5D, 6(a), 6(b), 3(i), 5, 5A, 5C of the Immoral Traffic Prevention (Amended) Act, 2006 and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 11.250 liters of illicit liquor from the hotel of the husband of the petitioner herein. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that neither any recovery has been made from the conscious possession of the petitioner herein nor the petitioner has got anything to do with the alleged occurrence. It is further submitted that the husband of the petitioner, who is owner of the hotel, has

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29778 of 2018 (2) dt.21-05-2018 2/2 already been granted bail by this Court. The petitioner is stated to be having a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 05.03.2018.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi in connection with Ahiyapur P.S. Case No. 222 of 2018.
