Pandey learned senior counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.
The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bettiah Muffassil (Manuapul) P.S. Case No. 199 of 2017 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 307 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.
The allegation against the petitioner is assaulting the father of the informant with farsa resulting in injury which is said to be simple in nature as would be culled out from Annexure-3 at page-25 of the present petition.
Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent, the allegation levelled against the petitioner is false. However, in any view of

No.49677 of 2017 (2) dt.17-10-2017 2/2 the matter, the injury inflicted is simple in nature and moreover, the present case is a result of the case filed by the petitioner on the same day at an earlier point of time against the informant side. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in jail since 21.08.2017.
For the reasons mentioned hereinabove, the petitioner, namely Sonu Kumar Pandey @ Prince Kumar Pandey @ Sonu Pandey is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah in connection with Bettiah Muffassil (Manuapul) P.S.
