2. The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in connection with Ara Muffasil P.S. Case No. 120 of 2022, registered for the offence under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code, lodged on 22.04.2022 by the informant, Anil Kumar Singh.
3. As per the prosecution story, the S.H.O., Ara Headquarter lodged FIR alleging that during verification of the SIM Card, it was found that six persons including the petitioner had obtained SIM through forged voter card. This led to the FIR.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she is a housewife and had no role to play in the matter and was not
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15038 of 2026(4) dt.13-05-2026 2/3 even aware of the issuance of the SIM. Further, in the Voter ID card that has been handed over to the mobile shopkeeper, one digit (1) is missing.
5. In this case, call for a report from the Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur and a report also shows that the voter ID card of the lady do not match with the document submitted for the procurement of the SIM.
6. Learned APP for the State has opposes the prayer for bail.
7. Considering the submissions of the parties as also the petitioner is a lady having clean antecedent, this Court is inclined to extend her the privilege of anticipatory bail.
8. Let the petitioner be released on bail in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from the receipt of this order, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, VIIth, Bhojpur at Ara, in connection with Ara Muffasil P.S. Case No. 120 of 2022, subject to the following conditions:- (i) one of the bailor should be the family member/relative of the petitioners who shall provide official document (Aadhar Card/Voter Id/Driving License /Pan Card) to

(ii) the petitioner shall appear on each and every date before the Trial Court and failure to do so for two consecutive dates without plausible reason will entail cancellation of his/her bail bond by the Trial Court itself;
(iii) the petitioner shall in no way try to induce or promise or threat the witnesses or tamper with the evidences, failing which the State shall be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of the bail bonds;
(iv) the petitioner shall desist from committing any criminal offence again, failing which the State shall be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of bail bonds. (Rajiv Roy, J) Ranjeet/- U T
