The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barauni (Refinery O.P.) P.S. Case No. 143 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of Indian Penal Code and also under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding the recovery of 21.24 liters of illicit liquor from the maize field of one Arvind Singh and Mahesh Singh and the petitioner was apprehended while he was trying to flee away from the said field.

The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that neither any recovery has been made from the conscious possession

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II cum Special Judge, Excise Court, Begusarai in connection with Barauni (Refinery O.P.) Case No. 143 of 2018.
