JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 01-05-2019 Petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 654 of 2018, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 150, 448, 354, 506, 427 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioners and other accused persons is that they came variously armed and on the point of pistol threatened the informant and tried to outrage her modesty and damaged the property.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioners is that from the petitioners' side a case has been lodged against the informant and others and thereafter mother of the informant has lodged a case and there are litigations pending between the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14734 of 2019(3) dt.01-05-2019 2/2 parties and there is no allegation of assault. Heard learned APP also.

Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, let petitioners, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of six weeks from the receipt of this order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai, in connection with Town P.S.Case No. 654 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure and further condition that one of the bailors of the petitioners shall be a local person having sufficient immoveable properties within the jurisdiction of the court concerned.
