The petitioners, four in number, apprehend their arrest in Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 216/2014 registered under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The informant alleged that he married his daughter Lalita Devi to Govinda Paswan five years ago. His daughter also got a child aged about 21⁄2 - 3 years but her husband, father-in-law, mother-in-law and brothers-in-law were always assaulting and torturing her due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. It is alleged that on the night of 21/22.05.2014, all the accused persons strangulated her to death.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.15949 of 2016 (2) dt.30-06-2016 2/2 petitioners that the petitioners are mother-in-law, father-in-law and brothers-in-law of the deceased. They never tortured the deceased. The petitioners are living separately and they have no manner of concern with the family affairs of the deceased and her husband. Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur in Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 216/14, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
