Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned APP for the State.
Learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes to remove the defects within four weeks. In the eventuality of nonremoval of defects within undertaken period, the office will place the matter before the Bench.
The present application has been filed for modification of order dated 21.12.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 36594 of 2021 and order dated 21.12.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 36473 of 2021 to the extent of extending the period of surrender.
On the grounds mentioned in the modification application, the period of surrender is extended by four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order in connection with Chakmeshi P.S. Case No. 251of 2020, pending in the Court learned Additional District Judge-II-cum-Special Judge (Excise Act), Samastipur, subject to deposit of sum of Rs.2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) each in the Victim Compensation Fund.
The order dated 21.12.2021 is modified to the extent as indicated above.
