The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Rivilganj P.S. Case No.17 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)A, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act. It is alleged that altogether six persons were apprehended from the place of occurrence. This petitioner is one of them and a country made loaded firearm was recovered from his possession. On the basis of which, the present case has been registered. Besides the present case, there is one more case bearing Rivilganj P.S. Case No.16 of 2018 for the offence under sections 399, 402 and 414 of I.P.C. One of the apprehended accused Kalyan Singh with similar allegation has been allowed

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31718 of 2018 (3) dt.12-07-2018 bail in Cr.Misc.No.31936 of 2018. The case of this petitioner stands on similar footing. He is in custody since 18.01.2018 but was remanded in the present case on 01.02.2018. The learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the submission.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the prayer of bail is allowed. The petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. VIII, Saran at Chapra in connection with Rivilganj P.S. Case No.17 of 2018. (Sanjay Kumar, J) Harish/- U
