The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Parsa P.S. Case No. 148 of 2022 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Further submission is that the recovery of illicit liquor has been made near bank of river. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17059 of 2023(2) dt.05-05-2023 2/2 within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of 2nd Exclusive Special Excise Court, Saran at Chapra in connection with Parsa P.S. Case No. 148 of 2022, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
