JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 12-10-2023 The short prayer made by the petitioner in the present case is to direct the District Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari to make payment of the admitted dues of a sum of Rs. 1464.00 with regard to which, though a cheque was prepared, as is annexed as Annexure-E to the counter affidavit, filed in the present case but was never actually handed over to the petitioner. It is also prayed that the District Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari be directed to consider the claim of the petitioner with regard to non-payment of salary for

Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner as aforesaid, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari to forthwith make payment of a sum of Rs. 1464.00 to the petitioner, who is further directed to decide the claim of the petitioner regarding payment of salary for the period 01.09.2015 to 26.02.2016 by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, within a period of four weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
