It is submitted by learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the relief prayed for by the petitioner in the instant writ application having been granted, the matter has become infructuous and as such, he seeks permission to withdraw this application.
Without going into the merits, in view of the above, the application is dismissed as withdrawn.
At this stage it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the departmental proceeding against the
Patna High Court CWJC No.5336 of 2020(8) dt.22-09-2020 2/2 petitioner is continuing and he is scheduled to retire in February, 2021. As such it is prayed that respondents be directed to expedite the proceedings.
In view of the fact that the petitioner is scheduled to retire in February, 2021, the respondents are directed to expedite the proceedings and conclude the same at the earliest in accordance with law.
