This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Uchkagaon P.S. Case No. 252 of 2022, registered under section 30(a)(b) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2022.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 297 litres of country made wine from a car. The petitioner is in custody since 11.01.2023.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16275 of 2023(2) dt.22-05-2023 2/2 Considering the period of custody and the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after framing of charge if the charge is not framed yet and on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-II -cum- Special Judge, Excise No.-1, Gopalganj in connection with Uchkagaon P.S. Case No. 252 of 2022.

The petitioner will visit Uchkagaon Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
