The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Khirhar P.S. Case No. 83/2019 dated 31.10.2019 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It appears that 355.500 litres of liquor was recovered from four motorcycles. The petitioner has been named by one of the arrested persons as being the owner of one motorcycle.

The petitioner denies that he has anything to do

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14867 of 2020(2) dt.11-06-2020 2/2 with the seized motorcycles. The petitioner has clean antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge -II -cum-Special Judge Excise Act, Madhubani in connection with Khirhar P.S. Case No. 83/2019, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Ashutosh Kumar, J) sunilkumar/- U T
