The petitioner is an accused in connection with Raghunathpur P.S. Case No. 228 of 2021 under Sections 341, 323, 379 and 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation against the accused persons including the petitioner is that they intercepted the informant and looted his motorcycle. The further allegation is that iron rod was used to cause injury on his head as a result whereof, there had been profused bleeding and the informant fell down on the earth. Before the villagers who come to his rescue, the accused persons left the place of occurrence along with the looted

Taking into account the aforesaid fact of not only loot but causing injury to the informant, this Court for the present is not inclined to grant him the privilege of bail which is accordingly hereby rejected.
