JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 22-06-2018 Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 13.07.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 31543 of 2017 with an observation to conclude the trial within the period of seven months.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that period of seven months has already expired and uptill now only two witnesses have been examined.
Heard learned A.P.P also.
Having heard both sides and in view of the allegation of rape on minor, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trail and try to conclude within a reasonable time, if possible, conduct it on regular basis.
