Petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in Barachatti (Mohanpur) P.S.Case No.712 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that similarly situated co-accused have already been granted anticipatory bail by coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 31.1.2018 passed in Cr.Misc. No.3195/18.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, le the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within six weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge(Excise),
