The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 307, 337, 338, 353, 414 of the Indian Penal Code and 25(1-b) and 27 of the Arms Act.

The prosecution case in short is that when the informant along with others police party had gone for measurement of land, the accused persons variously armed obstructed in official duty and also pelted bricks and stones on them due to which they got injuries.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 8.12.2018 and has got no criminal antecedent. There is no allegation of tampering of

The petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. General and omnibus allegation has been made against the petitioner. Neither any specific overt act nor any specific injury is attributed against the petitioner. Altogether 34 persons are named in the F.I.R. along with approximately 150 unknown persons.

On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, it is directed that the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah in connection with Bettiah (M) (Manuapul) P.S.
