The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Belsand P.S. Case No. 167 of 2018 registered for the offence under Section 498(A) & 323/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

In the F.I.R., the informant has alleged that due to non-fulfillment of further demand of dowry, the petitioners, who are family members of her husband, alongwith her husband subjected her to cruelty and torture.

No.13740 of 2020(2) dt.06-03-2020 2/2 It is submitted on behalf of petitioners that petitioner no. 1 is father-in-law, petitioner no. 2, petitioner nos. 2 & 3 are devar (younger brothers of husband of informant) and petitioner nos. 4 & 5 are gotni (wife of petitioner no. 2 & 3) respectively of informant. There is general and omnibus allegation. It is further submitted that petitioners are living separately and have no concern either with the affairs of the informant or her husband. Petitioners are having no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as nature of accusation, in the event of their arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, let the above named petitioners be enlarged on bail on furnishing bailbonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi in connection with Belsand P.S. Case No. 167 of 2018, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
