The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Special Case No. 1899 of 2018 (arising out of Maranchi P.S. Case No. 18 of 2018) for the offences punishable under Section(s) 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition Liquor and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 38 liters of illicit liquor from the railway station.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that neither any recovery has been affected from the conscious possession of the petitioner nor the said recovered illicit liquor belongs to the petitioner. It is further submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 01.03.2018. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the
