2. The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the concerned

Patna High Court CWJC No.4060 of 2025(2) dt.18-03-2025 2/3 respondent authorities to take steps towards considering the causes of the present petitioners for giving them charge against the posts of Inspector, Prohibition, in terms of the rules. The further prayer has also been made with regard to issuance of mandamus directing the concerned respondent authorities to take steps towards extending the benefits of revision and fixation of salary in favour of the petitioners along with the provisions contained in Rule 2023 framed for the petitioners.

Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are entitled for the benefit as the selection committee has recommended their name, but the decision has not been taken at the level of the competent authority and in this regard the petitioners have filed their representations vide Annexure-P/12 series.

4. Learned Counsel for the State submits that petitioners representation are still pending, therefore, case may be disposed off directing the respondent authorities to take a decision on the representations of the petitioners.

5. In the light of the submissions, it transpires to this Court that the petitioners have filed the present writ petition for issuance of writ of mandamus as representations of the petitioners are still pending, on which no decision has been

6. As such, this writ petition is disposed off directing the respondent authorities to take a decision on the representations filed by the petitioners within 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. (Dr. Anshuman, J) Mkr./- U
