Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
120 liters of country made liquor was recovered from an auto rikshaw on which the petitioners were passenger. Submission is that the petitioners had no knowledge about the liquor on the tempo. Petitioners have got no criminal antecedent. There is no material to substantiate that petitioners are going to tamper with the evidence or hamper the trial. Case No.38 of 2020, Excise Case No.272 of 2020, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
