2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition for the following reliefs:

(i) For issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing and commanding the respondent to pay the petitioner the rest amount of compensation immediately without any further delay according to the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (hereinafter to be referred as RFCTLARR, Act, 2013) for the land of the petitioner petitioning to Thana No. 109, Khata No. 104, Khesra No. 719 area 10 Dhur, Panchat No. 75 (Ch) of Mauza Naththupur treating the nature of the same as Residential Land acquired under NH 83 Project. (ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ directing and commanding the respondent to pay the petitioner upto date interest according to the provisions of the RFCTLARR, Act, 2013 for the rest of the amount of compensation for the aforesaid land which has been acquired by the respondents

(iii) For any other relief/reliefs of which the petitioner is legally entitled to.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application dated 01.07.2024 (Annexure P/5) before the District Land Acquisition Officer, Patna (respondent no. 3) but the said application has not been disposed of by the Authority. He further submits that this case may be disposed of with direction to the District Land Acquisition Officer, Patna (respondent no. 3) for expeditious disposal of the pending application of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the State has no objection to this prayer of the petitioner.

5. In view of the submission of the learned counsel for the parties, this case is disposed of with the direction to the District Land Acquisition Officer, Patna (respondent no. 3) to dispose of the aforesaid pending application dated 01.07.2024 of the petitioner expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order in accordance with law.
