Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 420, 467, 468 of Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is Revenue Karamchari in Barahat Circle. The allegation made in the first information report is of creating wrongful jamabandi in favour of two persons. The petitioner's counsel submits that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence and has been falsely implicated in this case due to some personal grudge. The petitioner submits that he has created the jamabandi in discharge of his duty after considering all aspects of the matter and at best it may be some irregularity for which no criminal offence is made out. Though he is accused in

No.36940 of 2017 (2) dt.10-08-2017 2/2 another case which is disclosed in the petition itself but in the said case, he is on bail and in that case also, he has been implicated by the same officer who is maintaining personal grudge against him. He submits that he is in custody since 21.04.2017. Considering the aforesaid submissions, petitioner's prayer for bail is allowed. Let the petitioner above named be released on bail on his furnishing bonds of Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Banka in Banka (Barahat) Police Station Case No 873 of 2016.
