25-06-2018 Heard Sri Jitendra Kumar Singh, learned counsel assisted by Sri Anil Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Damodar Prasad Tiwary, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor.

The sole petitioner, who is in custody since 24-02-2018 in Mahnar P.S. Case No. 108 of 2016 registered for offence under Sections 409/34 of the Indian Penal Code, has prayed for grant of bail.

By way of referring to F.I.R., it was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that this petitioner was not regular employee, rather he was contractual clerk in the Bank and after his end of contractual period, a false case was

No.34017 of 2018(2) dt.25-06-2018 2/2 instituted against him, as if, this petitioner, conspiring with earlier Branch Manager of the Bank and one another, has misappropriated huge amount from different account-holders of the Bank. It has been argued that petitioner has falsely been implicated and he be enlarged on bail.

Besides hearing, I have also examined the F.I.R. and after going through the same, I am of the opinion that it is not a case for grant of bail.

The prayer for bail stands dismissed.
