2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mejarganj P.S. Case No. 420/24 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 317(5) of the BNS and 21(c)/37 of the NDPS Act.

3. There is recovery of 280 pieces of 100 ml. bottle of cough syrup containing Codeine (total 28 litres) from the tempo of the petitioner.

4. The petitioner is in jail since 11.12.2024 and he claims to have clan antecedent.

5. Considering the period of custody, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17200 of 2025(2) dt.16-04-2025 2/2 amount each to the satisfaction of learned Session Judge-cumSpecial Judge (NDPS Act), Sitamarhi / concerned court in connection with Mejarganj P.S. Case No. 420/2024.

6. At the time of furnishing bail bonds, the Session Judge will verify the antecedent of the petitioner and will accept the bail bond if he has clean antecedent. In case, there are some case are found against him, his bail bonds shall not be accepted.

7. During the pendency of this case, the petitioner will mark his attendance in Sitamarhi police station on every Sunday.
