In this case, the petitioner has raised a grievance that he has executed the work and submitted a bill for the amount of Rs. 13,73,400/- and from that amount he has been paid only Rs. 6,02,148/- remaining Rs. 7 lacs and odd has not been paid to him till date. The petitioner was issued the work order for construction of the boundary wall and Gate and for construction of approach road from Grain Godown to Kasturba Vidyalaya Dharhara and after completion of the work,
Patna High Court CWJC No.5640 of 2016 dt.16-03-2017 he placed the bill for the aforesaid amount. The petitioner has been paid Rs. 6,02,148/- but, for the rest amount, he is moving around with an empty hand, not getting a proper response for the same. From the letter of the Executive Engineer, it appears that he has recommended for payment of the same which will be considered by the Chief Engineer, Building Construction Department, Building Division, Munger, after proper verification if it is found that the petitioner is entitled for the aforesaid amount, the same should be credited in the account of the petitioner without delay.
For convenience, the petitioner is directed to file a detailed representation to the Chief Engineer, Building Construction Department, Building Division, Munger, who will be obliged to examine and pay the aforesaid due amount to the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of filing of the representation by the petitioner along with a copy of this order.
With the aforementioned observation and direction, this application is disposed of.
