====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE S. KUMAR ORAL ORDER 24-05-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State.

Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in Complaint Case No.322 of 2017 for the offences registered under Sections 498 A of the Indian Penal Code and 3 /4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

It is alleged that petitioners along with their family members have assaulted and tortured complainant for nonfulfillment of demand of dowry. It is further alleged that petitioners and husband of complainant made attempt to kill her but anyhow she saved her life and came to her parental house.

It has been contended on behalf of petitioners that both petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31124 of 2018(2) dt.24-05-2018 2/2 complainant. They are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. There is general and omnibus allegation against all the accused persons. They have got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the present case, let petitioners, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Ten thousand only) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Madhepura in Complaint Case No.322 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
