The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Koransarai P.S. Case No. 134 of 2018 dated 21.11.2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 149, 188, 332, 333, 353, 504, 506, 427 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2018.

On secret information that people in the residential locality of a particular community are consuming liquor, a raid was conducted and from the house of one Mahesh Ram, 5 litres of liquor is said to

While aforesaid Mahesh Ram was being taken away to the police station, accused persons including the petitioners are said to have pelted stones on the police party for the purposes of taking away the arrested person from the captivity of the police. Though the petitioners have been named in the FIR but nothing specific has been attributed against them. Their names appear to have given by somebody who is pulling wires from behind. Apart from the aforestated facts, the petitioners do not have criminal antecedents.

For such facts, the petitioners are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J. Iind-cum-Special Judge (Excise) at Buxar in connection with Koransarai P.S. Case No. 134 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. (Ashutosh Kumar, J) krishna/- U T
