The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case under Sections 395/397 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Explosive Substance Act.
The petitioner is, of course, not named in the F.I.R. but during the course of investigation name of the petitioner figured in the case in the confessional statement of a co-accused. The informant has also claimed to identify the criminals on being shown.
Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail in Kochadhaman P.S. Case No. 57 of 2014. Accordingly, the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J) Dilip/- U T
