In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 128 of 2017 arising out of Alipur P.S. Case No. 20 of 2016 registered for offences under sections 304B, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

It has been informed by the Additional District Judge, Fast Track Court-1, Gaya that till date, only one witness has been examined.

For the present, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42663 of 2017 (3) dt.06-12-2017 Urmila Devi, is rejected.

This Court directs the Senior Superintendent of Police, Gaya to secure attendance of the remaining witnesses and the remaining witnesses should be examined on day-to-day basis and the trial must be concluded within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. The Fast Track Court, in failure to deliver the judgment within the aforesaid period of six months, will report this Court showing reasons for non-completion of the trial.
