The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 02/2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376 of the Indian Penal Code. Diary in this case was called for earlier which has since been received.

After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and perusing the materials on record which includes the statement of the victim girl, recorded under Section 164 of the Cr. P.C., I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to this petitioner. It is accordingly rejected.
