The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Misc Excise Case No. 679 of 2017 dated 14.07.2017 instituted for the offence under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition Excise Act, 2016.
From the possession of the petitioner, 58.65 litres of Indian Made Foreign Liquor has been recovered. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Taking into account the period of custody of the petitioner which is from 14.07.2017, as also the fact that the petitioner does not bear any criminal antecedent, this Court is inclined to grant bail to him.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.43209 of 2017 (4) dt.29-11-2017 The petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cumSpecial Judge (Excise), Supaul in connection with Misc Excise Case No. 679 of 2017.
