The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Ara Nawada P.S. Case No. 498 of 2019 registered under Sections 498A, 354 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Further he submits that petitioner works in a private company and he is ready to give maintenance to his wife Rs. 3,000/- per month, as stated in paragraph no. 2 of the second supplementary affidavit.
