Case No. 425 of 2019 dated 13.12.2019 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Approximately 420.12 litres of foreign liquor is said to have been recovered from the house of the petitioner.

It has been urged on behalf of the petitioner that the recovery is from an abandoned house which is not inhabited by any member of the family of the petitioner.

The petitioner is a reputed person of the locality

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16436 of 2020(2) dt.13-05-2020 2/2 and is in custody since 14.01.2020.

Considering the nature of accusation against the petitioner and his period of custody, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge II cum Special Judge, Excise, Begusarai in connection with Teghra P. S. Case No. 425 of 2019.
