It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has been granted arms licence for N.P. bore rifle to be carried only for the territory of the district of Begusarai. It is further contended that he is Managing Director of the firm, namely, "Geeta Pd. Singh and Sons", which is engaged in dealing with construction works on award of contract. He has been awarded contract for construction of bride at Muzaffarpur and Samastipur.

In above view of the matter, he filed an application for

Patna High Court CWJC No.7383 of 2015 (2) dt.22-09-2015 2/2 extension of his licence for the entire State of Bihar which is also within the power of the District Magistrate, Begusarai. It is also contended on behalf of the petitioner that though such application was made in the year 2013, however, no decision has been taken as yet by the licensing authority. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of this case, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate-cum-licensing authority, Begusarai to take a decision in accordance with law upon the application made by the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
