Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Rohtas Complaint Case No.257 of 2016, registered under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is husband and ready to take back his wife; whereas the learned counsel for the State submits that the impugned order indicates that the wife was ready to go back but the petitioner refused to take her back and marriage was solemnized only six years back.

Having considered the aforesaid facts and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31752 of 2018(3) dt.22-05-2018 2/2 circumstances, the Court is not persuaded to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner as he had refused to take his wife back despite the wife being inclined to go back, so the prayer of anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected in connection with Rohtas Complaint Case No.257 of 2016, pending in the court of learned SDJM, Sasaram.
