2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 310(2) and 317(3) of the B.N.S. and Sections 25(1-B)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

The prosecution case, in brief, is that on 19.09.2025, informant had taken a loan of Rs. 4,24,000/- from his relative, kept the same in a black and blue colour bag and was returning home with his brother on his motorcycle and stopped to attend the call of nature near Nauranga Mod Four Lane Muffasil Police Station, in the meantime, a white colour Scorpio car on which five to six persons were seated, came there

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15482 of 2026(4) dt.14-07-2026 2/2 and tried to snatch the bag containing money. When the informant resisted, the accused persons dragged him with the bag in the vehicle and when brother of informant tried to stop the vehicle, he was hit and fell on the ground. Thereafter, police reached the spot, stopped the Scorpio vehicle and apprehended two accused persons, namely Satish Singh and Dayanand Kumar Bharti, however, four accused persons managed to flee from the spot. Police recovered the looted amount, two loaded country made pistols, extra registration plates and mobile phone from possession of the apprehended accused persons. Apprehended co-accused Dayanand Kumar Bharti disclosed the name of this petitioner as one of the person who managed to flee away from the place of occurrence. Petitioner has got one criminal antecedent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, nature of accusation and criminal antecedent of the petitioner, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected.
