Petitioner has prayed for the following relief(s):- "(i) In the nature of "Mandamus" for directing and commanding the respondent authorities to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground in respect of petitioner's father namely Late Raj Kapoor Ram who was working as Clerk under Chief General Manager, BSNL. Alipore, Kolkata and died in harness on 17/10/1997.
