The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Laheri P.S.Case No.256 of 2017, registered for offences punishable under Sections 271, 273, 278, 290, 295A, 153A, 429, 420 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 11(2) of Animal Cruelty Act.

Allegation against the petitioners is that they were creating animosity in the society as huge quantity of beef was being loaded in the Truck.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioners are labourers and they have nothing to do with the loading of the beef and further it is submitted that now they are

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34844 of 2017 (2) dt.03-08-2017 2/2 in custody for more than 1 1⁄2 months.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, let the petitioners, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-I, Nalanda at Bihar Sharif in connection with Laheri P.S.Case No.256 of 2017. With following conditions :

(i) One of the bailors of the petitioners shall be a local person having sufficient immovable property within the jurisdiction of the concerned court.

(ii) The petitioners will not induce any witness or tamper with the evidence.

(iii) The petitioners shall co-operate in the disposal of trial and make themselves available as and when required by the court and on the event of failure on their part to appear before the court below on two consecutive dates without showing any genuine reason, their bail bond shall be cancelled.
