Petitioner is in custody in connection with Excise Case No. 840 of 2017 arising out of Barbigha P.S. Case No. 631 of 2017 for offenses punishable under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and he is in custody since 29.04.2018. He further submits that the petitioner has been arrested on the basis of the confessional statement of the co-accused Madan Saw. The said Madan Saw was granted bail by coordinate bench of this Court vide order dated
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32360 of 2018(2) dt.05-06-2018 2/2 15.02.2018 in Cr.MISC No. 6551 of 2018.
Considering the fact that similarly circumstances other co-accused and others have been granted bail by coordinate bench of this Court, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge, Sheikhpura, in connection with Excise Case No. 840 of 2017, arising out of Barbigha P.S.
