The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with Phulwarisharif P.S. Case No. 493 of 2020 for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The allegation in the FIR is that the deceased always used to object to the accused persons gathering around his house and this has infuriated the petitioner herein as also his associates. On the alleged date of occurrence, it has been alleged that it was the petitioner herein who opened fire which resulted into the death of Dharmendra (deceased).
