Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 8(c) 219b) of the NDPS Act.

Petitioner's name has figured during course of investigation in confessional statement of co-accused who was apprehended on the spot. No incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits that there is specific allegation that at the time of raid and recovery, petitioner and his accomplice fled away. Petitioner has got criminal antecedent of similar nature.
