JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 04-04-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. (I) For issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari or any other appropriate writ(s), order(s), direction(s) for quashing the final merit list dated 17.11.2023, issued by the Selection Committee headed by the District Magistrate, Arwal, whereby the candidature of the petitioner for Home Guard in view of
Patna High Court CWJC No.4695 of 2024(2) dt.04-04-2024 2/2 Advertisement NO. 02/2011 has been rejected on the basis of frivolous ground.
(ii) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ/ direction/ order for commanding the respondent concerned to re-examine the documents concerned with the petitioner's educational qualification and to take afresh decision in its true perspective with regard to final selection of the petitioner as Home Guard under the district Arwal."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
