JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-04-2017 The present writ application has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of direction to the respondents to pay his whole amount of general provident fund with up-to-date statutory interest till the date of payment.

A supplementary counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent nos.1 and 2 wherein categorical statement is made that the grievance of the petitioner has already been redressed and the whole amount of general provident fund with up-to-date statutory interest thereon amounting to Rs.8,36,728/- (Rs.47,363 + 7,89,385) till date have been paid to the petitioner on 28.03.2017.

3. Considering the averments made in the supplementary counter affidavit, since the sole grievance of the petitioner stands redressed, the writ application is disposed of as infructuous.
