Petitioner seeks bail in Dumraon P.S. Case No.22 of 2019 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged in the written report that the police, on confidential information that one Bhola Rai has brought one Tempo loaded with illicit liquor, went to the house of Bhola Rai and found one Tempo in front of his house. It is alleged that police recovered 33.12 litres foreign liquor from the house of Bhola Rai and 8.6 litres from the aforesaid Tempo. Petitioner is said to be driver of the Tempo.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that Petitioner is in custody since 19.01.2019 having clean antecedents.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the ADJ II cum Special Judge, Excise Act, Buxar, in connection with Dumraon P.S. Case No.22 of 2019, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
