The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences under Section 30 (a) and 38 (1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is contended that as per allegation, 23 litres of foreign liquor were recovered in a box lying on the platform which belongs to one Pankaj Das who disclosed the mobile number of the petitioner on the basis of which the petitioner has been made accused in this case. Petitioner claims that he is having clean antecedent and is in custody since 25.05.2017.

No.34378 of 2017(2) dt.10-08-2017 2/2 Considering the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, abovenamed is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional District & Sessions Judge-II-cumSpecial Judge, Excise, Lakhisarai in connection with Kiul Rail P.S. Case No. 226 of 2016 with a condition that if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in criminal case of similar nature, the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bonds.
