2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Nawkothi (Nowkothi) P.S. Case No. 147 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 329(4), 308(5), 324(4), 61(2), 74, 351(2), 352, & 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner, along with other co-accused persons, allegedly damaged CCTV cameras, vandalized property, threatened the informant's mother at gunpoint, and demanded extortion (Rangdari) of Rs. 5 lakh, and Rs. 15,000/- was forcibly taken from the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that the petitioner has 11 criminal antecedents.

6. Considering the seriousness of the allegations and the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner even though one of the co-accused has been granted bail.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected.
