The petitioner seeks confirmation of bail in connection with Nima Chandpura P.S. Case No. 105 of 2020, lodged under Sections 420, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise and Prohibition act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide order dated 20.04.2022 provisional bail has been granted to the petitioner directing him that :

"after release of the petitioner, an affidavit is required to be filed on his behalf giving details of the owner of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26957 of 2021(15) dt.26-09-2022 2/2 vehicle, as to how he is connected with the trade of liquor, name of the person for whom the petitioner was working and where the liquor was to be transported."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said affidavit has been filed before the Trial Court in compliance of the order dated 20.04.2022, in the said background he submits to the Court that his provisional bail may be confirmed. In the light of above undertaking made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, let the provisional bail of petitioner is hereby confirmed and the report submitted by State is accepted.

In this background, the bail application stands disposed of.
