Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 366(A), 323, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The FIR would reveal that the petitioner allegedly abducted the daughter of the informant with intent to marry with her. Statement of the victim under Section 164 Cr.P.C. would reveal that the matter was of love affairs. However, subsequently, she has alleged abduction against the petitioner under pressure of someone.

Learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for bail.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.49094 of 2017 (4) dt.02-01-2018 Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Kadwa Police Station Case No.43 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
